Swimsuit Censorship Changes

According to media reports, the Kirkwood, Missouri librarian is upset that Sports Illustrated decided to withhold its annual swimsuit edition from schools and libraries. SI believed it was inappropriate for children.

How times have changed. When I was in high school, the librarian kept the issue in the back room. Otherwise pictures would be ripped out and stolen. (Imagine that.)

Has censorship occurred? Seems to me that SI was showing a bit -- albeit a miniscule amount -- of responsibility.
